New Evangelization

The Church exists to evangelize. Your support of the CMA is vital to continuing evangelization and discipleship ministries throughout the Archdiocese and help people to encounter Christ in their own lives, equipping them to walk with others on their journey of faith.

St. Rita School for the Deaf

Since its inception, 102 years ago, St. Rita has provided services to over 2,600 children with profound hearing loss and through the years we have expanded our services to include children with Apraxia, Down Syndrome and those on the Autism Spectrum.

Seminary and Vocations

The Athenaeum of Ohio, home to Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West, located in Cincinnati is the premier center of Catholic formation sponsored by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. At this graduate school of theology, those who have heard the calling from God receive the education and guidance they need.

Retired Archdiocesan Priests

These men of God celebrate Mass, administer the sacraments, and educate and guide our families. Diocesan priests have given us decades of faithful service, receiving very modest compensation from our parishes for their work. Many of these men continue their ministry for years after retirement, assisting pastors with weekend services, hearing confessions, and visiting the sick.

Hospitals, Campus, and Prison Ministries

Catholic chaplains and lay pastoral ministers at local hospitals offer prayers, the sacraments, companionship before surgery, and a listening presence to those in need.

College students have opportunities to continue growing in their Catholic faith and deepen their relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of your support to the CMA, we have a Catholic presence at local, non-Catholic colleges — University of Cincinnati, Sinclair Community College, Miami University, Wittenberg University, and Wright State University.

The incarcerated receive support through RCIA classes, the celebration of Mass as well as the Sacrament of Reconciliation and other faith-based programs. The ministry serves at Lebanon Correctional, Warren Correctional, and Dayton Correctional Institutions.

Catholic Charities and Social Services

Every week, CMA supporters are impacting the story of thousands who are hungry … lonely … suffering … at-risk … in need. The CMA provides funding to Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio and Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley.

Attention Hearing Aid Wearers

hearingWe have implemented a hearing loop system throughout the general seating area in church.  You may now hear the spoken word directly by switching your hearing aid or cochlear implant to “T” (T-coil, Tele-coil) at the beginning of Mass.  For information on the “T” function, check your hearing aid instructions or contact your hearing aid provider.
