St. Francis taught that singing is praying twice! Volunteer opportunities abound for parishioners interested in serving as cantors, choir members, and instrumentalists. Rehearsals are scheduled weekly, and groups provide music for weekend liturgies and special events.

Cantors are a very important part of the music ministry. The cantor enables the congregation to participate in songs by leading them in singing and by teaching them new music. Cantors rehearse 30 minutes before Mass.
The Resurrection Choir was developed out of a desire and a need to honor those who have died with a celebration that genuinely expresses the beauty and joy of our faith. The choir meets 30 minutes before the funeral Mass. New members are welcome at any time.
Do you play an instrument and would like to enhance our Sunday Liturgies? String, brass, percussion, and woodwind instrumentalist are welcome at all Sunday Liturgies. We rehearse 30 minutes before Mass.
The Adult Choir sings at our 9:30 am Sunday Liturgies as well as all special Liturgies such as Christmas and Easter. We meet on Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the church to rehearse. This ensemble focuses on an array of liturgical music. The ability to read music is a plus but not necessary. High school students are invited to sing as well.
